The City of Sochi is the Resort Capital of Krasnodar Krai (Territory). This region, also known as "The Kuban," is the southernmost region of Russia.  Approximately the size of the U.S. State of South Carolina, Krasnodar Krai is a diverse and wealthy region of Russia.

 

The entire warm-water coastline of Russia falls withing the area of Krasnodar Krai. Stretching from Port Kavkaz, just across from the Crimea, to Sochi down near the border with the Republic of Georgia.

 

For those who are new to this region, we hope this website will be helpful. We'll be adding information to our directory as we can. For those who have been longtime residents of the city,  any information that you can add will be most appreciated.
